Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - IL
A virtual speech-language pathology opportunity is available serving a 5th and 6th grade caseload. This contract position runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, providing teletherapy services to approximately 60 students ranging from general education to severe and life skills needs.
Key responsibilities include delivering speech therapy both as a related service and speech-only sessions, managing cases for around 20 students, and providing virtual push-in support for severe cases alongside pull-out services for self-contained settings. Collaboration is supported through working with a paraprofessional facilitator and a shared virtual psychologist.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Active Illinois LBS1 certification
- Experience providing virtual speech therapy, including telespeech and teletherapy services
- Competence in managing diverse student needs across various educational settings
Location: This position is based virtually with services provided to students in the Westville and Danville, IL areas.
