Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credentials for a contract position in San Tan Valley, AZ. This opportunity involves delivering telespeech services to a diverse caseload within a school setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing teletherapy to a caseload of 55 students, including 17 students classified with Speech or Language Impairment (SLI)
- Addressing a broad range of student needs spanning from general education to self-contained environments
- Collaborating with a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support student progress
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with caseloads featuring diverse educational placements
- Strong skills in telespeech delivery platforms and remote therapy methodologies
- Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload with varying degrees of student needs
- Effective communication skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
