Speech Language Pathologist Work From Home | Illinois
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support telespeech services within a school setting in Mundelein, IL. This opportunity spans the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning August 19, 2024, and concluding May 30, 2025. The role requires providing services approximately 35 hours per week, managing a caseload of 12 students, with the possibility of additional students assigned.
Key responsibilities include delivering effective telespeech interventions, conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating remotely with educational staff to support student communication needs. This role requires strong telepractice skills and the ability to engage students through virtual platforms while maintaining compliance with current standards of care.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience with telespeech service delivery in school environments
- Knowledge of speech-language disorder evaluations, therapy techniques, and educational regulations
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adjust treatment plans according to student progress
- Familiarity with telepractice technology and comfortable working remotely with students and school staff
