Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity available for the 2026/2027 school year in Metamora, IL. Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services in a Therapeutic Day School setting
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for students ranging from PreK through 22 years old
- Support students primarily diagnosed with autism, alongside those with emotional and intellectual disabilities
- Collaborate closely with educational and clinical staff to create and implement customized treatment plans
- Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to reach students as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLPA license is required; SLP license and certification (CCC) preferred
- Experience with both in-school therapy and teletherapy
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques suitable for children and young adults with autism and related disabilities
- Ability to work approximately 15 hours per week in a single, small-classroom building setting
