Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in IL
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with licensure is needed for the 2026/2027 school year in a therapeutic day school setting located in East Peoria, IL. This role offers approximately 15 hours per week within a single building serving students from PreK through age 22. Small class sizes create an intimate, focused environment tailored to diverse needs.
The student population primarily includes individuals with autism spectrum disorders, alongside others with emotional and intellectual disabilities. Experience or interest in working with these populations will be valuable in delivering effective teletherapy and direct speech-language services.
Key qualifications and experience sought include:
- Valid Illinois SLPA license or Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote speech-language services
- Experience working in school-based or therapeutic day school environments
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities encompass delivering therapeutic speech and language interventions via teletherapy and/or in-person sessions, tracking student progress, and collaborating with educators and caregivers to support communication goals.
