Teletherapy Speech Therapy in LA
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in teletherapy, based in Kenner, LA. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligned with the school calendar. The work schedule includes 7 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Key responsibilities include delivering teletherapy SLP services within the school district, supporting students across varied caseloads and age groups to improve communication skills. The exact number of schools and caseload specifics will be determined.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state license and licensure valid in candidate’s state of residence
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) mandatory
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Louisiana school settings
- Proven teletherapy experience in educational environments
- Successful completion of technology screening
- At least one professional reference available
- Completion of district HR credentialing form required
Candidates must be prepared to participate in a prescreen interview to assess suitability for the role. Scheduling availability for this internal eligibility interview should be provided upon application.
This role is contracted through the school district, with a contract in place, and the assignment dates extend from ASAP through May 22, 2026. Compensation varies with experience, starting from the mid $40,000s to upper $50,000s annually.
