Remote Speech Language Pathologist Kentucky Schools

Qualifications
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Kentucky SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Two or more years of professional experience preferred
• Previous school-based and/or teletherapy experience is a plus
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Comfortable utilizing virtual platforms and digital tools
Primary Responsibilities
Assessment & Service Delivery
• Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Deliver direct teletherapy services to students
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions using performance data
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain accurate records of services, progress, and goal attainment
• Complete evaluations, reports, and required documentation in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Collaboration & Team Participation
• Partner with teachers, families, and school personnel to support student outcomes
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
• Share strategies that promote skill carryover across school and home environments
Telepractice & Technology
• Utilize digital therapy resources to create engaging virtual sessions
• Adapt materials to support effective online learning experiences
• Assist families with basic platform navigation and troubleshooting when needed
Student Advocacy
• Help students access appropriate communication services and supports
• Provide educational resources to caregivers and school teams as needed
