A virtual speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide teletherapy services for a diverse caseload of students ranging from general education to severe life skills needs. Providing therapy to 5th and 6th graders, this role supports both speech-only students and those receiving speech as a related service, ensuring individualized care in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual push-in therapy for students with severe needs and provide pull-out services for self-contained classrooms
- Manage case files for approximately 20 students, overseeing progress and coordinating services
- Collaborate with a paraprofessional facilitator and a virtual psychologist to enhance student outcomes
- Support a caseload of 60 students at the 5th and 6th-grade levels, adapting therapy approaches as required by varying needs
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Active Licensed Behavior Specialist Level 1 (LBS1) credential
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse range of student needs including severe disabilities
