A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting located in Chester, VA. This contract position requires delivering specialized speech and language support to students in a virtual environment, ensuring continuous access to therapy and communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech-language assessments and therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student evaluations and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators to integrate speech-language goals into classroom activities
- Monitor and document student progress through detailed reports and session notes
- Utilize telespeech and teletherapy platforms effectively to engage students remotely
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience providing teletherapy services, specifically in schools or educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Ability to design engaging and age-appropriate virtual therapy activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote client interaction
Location: Chester, VA
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 3.5 hours per day
