We are seeking dedicated and passionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide high-quality teletherapy services to students throughout New Mexico for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an opportunity to help students reach their communication goals while enjoying the flexibility of working remotely.
As a Virtual SLP, you will collaborate with educators, families, and special education teams to deliver individualized speech and language services that support student success in the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct teletherapy services to students in grades K–12
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital resources effectively
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New Mexico SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable providing services through virtual platforms
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and special education regulations
