Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Oregon
Albany, OR
A contract position is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide virtual therapy services in an educational setting located in Albany, OR. These roles focus on delivering teletherapy to students within two schools, supporting a pediatric caseload under school-based healthcare guidelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions via telepractice.
- Collaborating with school staff and families to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory standards.
- Managing caseloads at full-time equivalent rates of 0.8 and 0.6, respectively.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and district-required training.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience with pediatric and school-based speech therapy services.
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams virtually.
Additional Details:
- Start date aligned with the upcoming school year.
- Supervision provided through district personnel including paraprofessionals, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs.
- Full-time weekly hours available, split between two schools.
- Interview process conducted remotely with prompt decision-making.
- District requires fingerprint clearance and signed contract prior to start.
- Training and support provided as part of onboarding.
