Qualifications & Experience
- Active California SLP license required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with middle school student needs and school-based service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Must provide proof of licensure (please attach a screenshot with your application)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and execute individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in small-group or one-on-one settings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document student performance, maintain records, and complete compliance paperwork
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students with communication needs
