Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP license
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing procedures
- Experience writing and participating in IEPs
- Skilled in conducting assessments and implementing therapy plans
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging SLP services to elementary and some pre-k students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Develop, maintain, and update individualized therapy plans
- Document student progress and fulfill Medicaid billing requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the student support team
