Speech-Language Pathologist – School-Based (26/27 School Year)

Soliant is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based position in the Overland Park area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an onsite opportunity supporting an elementary caseload within a well-established district.
Position Overview:
- School year: August 13, 2026 – May 25, 2027
- Full-time applicants only
- Onsite only
- Elementary caseload
- School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification
- New contract will be required prior to the 26/27 school year start
Important Notes:
- Current Speech Director is transitioning; scheduling interviews may experience delays
- SLP-CCC candidates will be prioritized
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district/state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred
Experience & Education:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Prior elementary school-based experience preferred
Work Hours:
- Full-time school schedule (approx. 37.5–40 hours/week)
Employment Type:
- Contract - W2
Compensation:
- $51+/hour starting (average ~$54/hour DOE, depending on years of experience)
