Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in pediatrics and comfort working in school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language challenges
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, tailored to meet each child’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning as part of the multidisciplinary team
