Experienced Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide services in K-8 environments—whether you’re looking for part-time flexibility or full-time engagement, there are opportunities available to fit your schedule.

You’ll have the chance to work onsite at one or two schools depending on your preference for part- or full-time hours, with collaborative teams or independently, and with caseloads spanning kindergarten through 8th grade (including some preschool resource therapy positions). Positions begin ASAP and continue through June 2027.

What Will Set You Up for Success:

  • Active Florida SLP license in good standing
  • Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric speech therapy preferred
  • Ability to navigate timely fingerprinting and credentialing (district can utilize AHCA clearinghouse)
  • Willingness to complete an in-person badge pick-up before beginning
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative spirit, or comfort working autonomously where needed

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech/language therapy services to students in a K-8 school environment
  • Manage a caseload at one or two school campuses, depending on assigned schedule
  • Consult and collaborate with onsite SLP teams, educators, and families
  • Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
  • Participate in team meetings and school-based initiatives
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
