Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Florida SLP license
- Previous experience with school-aged children (K-8) preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy and collaborative team approaches
- Must satisfy district credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance (can be expedited if previously cleared by AHCA)
- Willingness to retrieve your school badge in person before starting
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students spanning PK-8th grades, depending on placement
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with staff and families
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP teams
- Participate in ongoing communication with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Maintain thorough progress records and complete required documentation
- Work 14–21 hours per week for part-time roles, or 35 hours per week if combining assignments for full time
- Serve in settings with supportive SLP teams or as the campus specialist, offering variety and autonomy
