Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing Speech-Language Pathology services within an engaging school environment in the Port Saint Lucie and Ft. Pierce areas. This contract role offers options for both full-time and part-time schedules serving a variety of age groups and caseloads across several vibrant schools. There are five openings available—some with the opportunity for CF applicants if supervision by another SLP is available.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current/active Florida SLP license
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with other SLPs, SLPAs, or support staff
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Experience with diverse caseloads (K-12, ASD, EBD, InD units) is ideal
- Flexibility to cover maternity leave assignments as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services across your assigned campus(es), either in Port Saint Lucie or Ft. Pierce
- Manage a caseload aligned with your assignment (High School, K-8, 1st-4th, ASD, or EBD units)
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support students’ social, academic, and communication goals
- Adhere to all district credentialing and compliance requirements, including fingerprinting and badge pickup before your start date
