Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Washington State Dept of Health SLP License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Washington State SLP ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate
- Fingerprints and successful completion of WSP and FBI background checks, including sexual misconduct clearance
- Valid Washington State driver’s license or documented evidence of mobility
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to K-12 students, addressing articulation, language, voice, fluency, and communication needs
- Assess and evaluate students to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ progress and academic success
- Maintain comprehensive documentation that meets school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to educational teams
- Work on-site aligned with student in-person days (no remote duties), 37.5 hours per week during standard school hours
