The first assignment runs from September 4th through January 31st, offering a full-time schedule and the chance to immerse yourself in every facet of school-based SLP work. The second provides flexibility, beginning as soon as possible and lasting through the end of the school year, with responsibilities spread across two days each week. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credential
- Eligibility for state licensure
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Passion for empowering students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver targeted therapy to students with communication disorders
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
- Communicate progress with parents, teachers, and other team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
