Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desired
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and set personalized speech and language goals for students
- Provide engaging direct and indirect speech therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote generalization of skills and holistic student success
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and deliver professional recommendations and updates
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies that support communication development
