Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates considered
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and students of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set appropriate, measurable goals
- Provide direct and indirect therapy in accordance with student IEP requirements
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
- Support general educators in implementing classroom strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
