Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as required.
- Demonstrated experience (including clinical placements) working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-5 setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the school year.
- Please note: SLPAs are not being considered for this position.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Liaise with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ goals and generalization of skills across settings.
