Whether you’re a seasoned clinician with CCCs or a dedicated SLP-CFY eager to grow, your expertise in pediatric speech therapy will be key to helping each student reach their communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Complete speech-language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Implement evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with school staff/families
- Provide recommendations and support for classroom accommodations
- Participate in meetings and offer professional insight to support student success
