Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain state licensure for schools
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Prior experience in K-12 educational environments preferred
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and report-writing capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services tailored to students’ needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Offer support and resources for staff and caregivers to foster development outside therapy sessions
