Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or CFY welcome to apply
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desired
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop individualized plans to meet students’ unique needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with educators and families
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed, maintaining clear and regular communication with staff and parents
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development
  • Prepare necessary reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Serve as a resource to teachers, staff, and families regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies
