Ideal Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Communication Disorders
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice Speech-Language Pathology in California
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly at the elementary level, is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create customized treatment plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Passion for fostering student growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver targeted speech and language therapy
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Monitor student outcomes, adjust interventions as necessary, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide therapy services in both group and individual settings
- Advocate for student needs and help create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
