What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current SLP licensure for Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed, though candidates completing a CFY are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants are highly encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation
Duties Include:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track measurable progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to maximize student support
- Deliver therapy in-person or via teletherapy platforms, as required
- Offer consultative support and classroom strategies to promote carryover of skills
- Maintain thorough and timely student records and progress reports
