A Speech Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP credentials is needed for a contract position in the school setting located in Sugar Land, Texas. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school settings is advantageous
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapists (PTs), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs)
- Monitor, document, and report progress regularly to ensure treatment efficacy
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records and documentation
