This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking meaningful work within a dynamic educational environment. Both full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time assignments are available, with most caseloads located at a single site and age groups spanning preschool through high school.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Georgia Department of Education Certification required
- Valid Georgia SLP License in good standing
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Bilingual SLPs encouraged to apply for specialized assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy to students in a school setting
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Caseload assignments may include sites such as Gideons Old 4th Ward, Drew Pre-K, various elementary and high schools, and community preschools
