Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Prior experience or demonstrated knowledge of K-2 populations within a school setting
- Strong ability to conduct student assessments and evaluations
- Capable of writing and updating individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfortable attending meetings and working as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with best practices in school-based speech therapy
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform individualized assessments and student evaluations at the assigned school
- Develop, review, and update IEPs in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Facilitate and document direct therapy sessions, ensuring student goals are met
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations
- Maintain organized records and timely progress reporting
- Engage in paid administrative time and team meetings as part of your contracted hours
What to Expect:
- Consistent, full-time schedule—35 hours per week, October 1st through December 31st
- Single school placement (elementary, K-2) for strong continuity and professional connections
- Paid for all hours worked within the contract timeframe
- Interview remotely via Zoom or Teams, with an expedited decision process
- Supportive onboarding and credentialing, including guidance on fingerprinting if needed
