A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available specializing in pediatric and school-based services. Location: Steger, Illinois (travel position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across pediatric and school settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support students’ communication goals
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide consultation and training to staff as needed to promote understanding of speech-language services
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for or current Illinois state licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric and school populations, including CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates considered
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school teams
