A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available specializing in pediatric and school-based services. This travel opportunity is ideal for licensed SLPs looking to gain diverse experience working in educational settings while providing essential support to students with communication disorders.

Location: Steger, Illinois (travel position)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across pediatric and school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support students’ communication goals
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide consultation and training to staff as needed to promote understanding of speech-language services

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligibility for or current Illinois state licensure as an SLP
  • Experience working with pediatric and school populations, including CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates considered
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school teams
