Required Skills and Preferred Experience:
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain for school-based practice in Arkansas
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience with school-aged children preferred, though not required
- Open to both experienced SLPs and new graduates
- Willingness to collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- SLPAs will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individual and group, tailored to student goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to team planning
- Support the overall communication needs within the school setting
