- Ability to create dynamic and effective treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-6 students over two full workdays each week
- Use an additional half day for IEP meetings, progress monitoring, assessments, and collaborative planning
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language screenings, evaluations, and ongoing treatment
- Document therapy sessions and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Communicate progress with families and instructional staff, advocating for each student’s unique needs
