Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Delaware SLP licensure is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Prior experience in school settings with K-6th grade students preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and school teams
- Confidence with developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation
- Ability to plan sessions that accommodate a diverse range of student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students—two full days per week
- Allocate a half day weekly to evaluations, meetings, IEP planning, and team collaboration
- Document progress, maintain required records, and report outcomes on student development
- Communicate proactively with families, teaching staff, and school administrators
