You’ll enjoy manageable caseloads (approx. 50–60 students, with potential for slight increases), clear documentation time (one hour daily allotted for paperwork), and assignments spread across one or two locations at most.
Qualifications:
- Valid State Educator Teacher Certification with Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology (state-specific requirement)
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and experienced SLP-CCC clinicians
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and school staff
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations and tailoring individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within the K-12 school setting
- Develop and implement IEPs and therapy goals for assigned caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support students’ academic and social success
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
