This full-time contract opportunity is based near Stamford, CT, focusing on a diverse caseload that includes students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). What You'll Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in working with ASD populations
  • Experience with Pre-K to 6th grade students is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs

In This Role, You'll:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for Pre-K through 6th grade students
  • Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
  • Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate speech-language objectives into daily activities
  • Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to address speech-language concerns, with particular attention to ASD
  • Empower students to strengthen social communication and practical speech/language skills
  • Maintain detailed progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Serve as a valued resource for families and school staff on all speech-language related needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.92 to $60.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
