- Knowledge of best practices for speech-language assessment and therapy in school-aged children
- Ability to collaborate with other educators, families, and related service providers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy within school buildings
- Evaluate, assess, and document students’ needs and progress
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers and parents to support student success
- Manage student caseload and maintain accurate records
