Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist CCC certification
- Valid Florida SLP licensure (required)
- Recent or relevant school-based SLP experience preferred
- District-specific credentialing: background check/fingerprinting (can often use AHCA Clearinghouse clearance)
Primary Duties:
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to K-8 or high school students
- Complete evaluations, develop service plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with student support teams, educators, and caregivers
- Support and mentor, as needed, within teams including SLPs and SLPAs
- Adapt to evolving student caseloads, which may include ASD units or high school populations
