A great school district in the Key West, Florida area is now looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026โ2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based contract position supporting students in the Upper Keys.
The district is seeking an experienced CCC-SLP who is comfortable potentially supporting multiple school sites. The current caseload is expected to include approximately 70 or more students, with additional details regarding student populations, service needs, and school assignments provided during the interview.

ยท Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and direct therapy services for students.
ยท Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
ยท Provide individual, group, and consultative speech-language services as appropriate.
ยท Support students with articulation, language, fluency, communication, and related needs.
ยท Develop and monitor appropriate IEP goals.
ยท Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with members of the educational team.
ยท Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress reports, and student records.
ยท Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other school-based professionals.
ยท Travel between multiple school sites if required by the district.
๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ:
ยท Previous school-based or pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.
ยท Experience managing a larger school-based caseload is preferred.
ยท Candidates should be comfortable supporting students across multiple school sites if needed.

ยท Masterโs degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
ยท Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
ยท ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
ยท Must meet all state and school district requirements for SLP practice.
