Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid state license and meet all state-required credentials for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Possess Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Proficient working within school settings, preferably with high school-aged students.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) services (AAC evaluations are not required).
  • Familiarity and comfort working in environments supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorders or related needs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to high school students in a personalized, supportive setting.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop strategies that encourage communication and independence.
  • Assist in supporting students with their individual goals, focusing on enhancing communication and daily life skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Coordinate services across 15-20 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days, during the designated summer period.
