Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Amherst, MA
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a high school setting in Amherst, MA, with a start date as soon as possible. This position offers a full-time schedule from 7:41 AM to 2:15 PM, serving a caseload of approximately 75 students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for high school students
- Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs
- Oversee and collaborate with a Speech Assistant to support therapy goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience preferred
- Experience in school-based speech therapy and teletherapy services
- Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to manage a sizable caseload efficiently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
