Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; new graduates (CF) may be considered
- Experience with school-aged children and a range of communication disorders
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Collaborative, flexible, and professional demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Deliver speech-language therapy services individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress and integration
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team activities
- Provide resources and education to staff and families as needed
