SLP in Spring Lake, NC
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for a K-12 school district in North Carolina. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive speech and language services across elementary, middle, and high school settings following a structured work model. The contract runs from August 2025 through May 2027, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Spring Lake, NC
Position Type: Full-time Contract for the 2025-2027 school years
Work Environment: Onsite only, no remote or vocational accommodations available
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students across K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ speech and language development
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to enhance student communication and academic success
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide regular reports as required
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license is required; candidates holding out-of-state licenses must be able to obtain NC licensure by June or July
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working within school-based SLP roles serving diverse caseloads
- Strong assessment and intervention skills across a range of communication disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively with school teams and families
- Willingness to work onsite full time, travel candidates are welcome
