Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in educational environments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to individualized, evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to 5th and 6th grade students, tailoring plans to individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal standards
- Serve as a communicative bridge between students, families, and team members regarding student growth
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary support plans
- Support staff training and consult on best practices for speech and language development in the classroom
