Soliant Health is actively seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for part-time, onsite opportunities in the Detroit, Michigan area. These positions will serve upper elementary students in a collaborative school environment, providing speech and language services that help students reach their full academic and communication potential.
These flexible opportunities are available for clinicians seeking either a 4-day-per-week schedule or a 2-day-per-week schedule during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details
- Part-Time schedules available: 4 days per week or 2 days per week
- 2026–2027 School Year
- Onsite services only
- Two SLP openings
- Upper elementary student population
- Caseload assignments may vary based on therapist experience and school needs
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and comprehensive assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines
Qualifications Required
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to complete a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
Preferred
- Previous school-based speech-language pathology experience
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Pediatric speech-language pathology experience
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
