Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite position (37.5 hours per week) runs from August 11, 2026, through June 6, 2027, and offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a school-based setting near Sonoma, CA.

You’ll work with one of three diverse caseloads, such as:

  • In-person at a single site supporting two Special Day Classes (High and Post-Secondary), serving both intensive and mild/moderate needs.
  • Split between two sites: spending 0.6 FTE in a Middle School Special Day Class (intensive and mild/moderate) and 0.4 FTE in an Elementary Special Day Class.
  • In-person at a single site dedicated to a Mild/Moderate Program serving Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and certification in California.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Previous experience in a school setting, ideally supporting students with mild/moderate and/or intensive needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and deliver individualized speech and language therapy for assigned students.
  • Collaborate with educators, special educators, and support staff.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Provide consultative support to classroom teachers to maximize student growth and inclusion.

This is an onsite, in-person position (no remote or hybrid options) for professionals who are passionate about promoting student success and communication independence.
