Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and current SLP licensure from the State of New Mexico
- Experience delivering speech-language therapy in schools, including teletherapy modalities
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites within the district
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Master’s preferred)
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational compliance standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Pre-K through 12th grade
- Deliver both in-person and virtual (teletherapy) services
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to develop comprehensive care plans
- Maintain meticulous records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adjust therapy approaches to suit a variety of learning styles and developmental levels
- Provide district-wide coverage, ensuring continuity of care as students move between sites
