This onsite, full-time position is based near Siler City, NC, supporting a caseload of 30–40 students ranging from Kindergarten through 6th or 8th grade. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to empower students to develop their communication skills and reach milestones that set a foundation for lifelong success.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- NC state license and NPI number (required for Medicaid billing)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology, ideally within school settings
- Competence evaluating and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt intervention plans to meet a broad range of student abilities and needs
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to determine individualized interventions
- Deliver therapeutic services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with classroom teachers and other faculty to integrate student communication goals into daily activities
- Engage and collaborate with families regarding progress and strategies for home use
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student growth
