School Speech Language Pathologist - Shingle Springs, California

This contract Speech-Language Pathology assignment offers multiple placement possibilities throughout El Dorado County, serving a variety of school sites spanning from El Dorado Hills to Camino. This position is ideal for professionals skilled in school-based speech therapy (SLP-CCC or SLP), as well as Clinical Fellows and SLPAs seeking strong onsite supervision and mentoring.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California SLP license required
- SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellows, or SLPAs welcome (on-site supervision provided)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred; familiarity with SEIS and CA school systems is a plus
- Willingness to travel to different sites and adapt to assignment changes throughout the semester
- Comfort managing mild to moderate caseloads, with potential for more severe cases depending on placement
- Flexibility to work onsite; this is not a teletherapy/Voco position
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language pathology services across various school settings within the district
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ communication goals
- Work collaboratively with educational teams and families, adjusting caseload as needed based on assignment
- Ensure compliance with all state and district requirements
