Embark on an impactful contract opportunity supporting students across a scenic region for the 2026/2027 school year. This engaging role involves providing speech-language services at multiple school sites, with assignments spanning throughout the county from El Dorado Hills to Camino. While specific school locations will be determined closer to the start date, candidates should be comfortable with an itinerant schedule and adapting to assignment changes as needed. Travel between sites will be a core part of this role, making flexibility and adaptability essential.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs with supervision will be considered
  • Familiarity with schools-based caseloads (mild to moderate, with some severe) highly valued
  • Preferred: experience with SEIS documentation and California school systems
  • Comfort with travel and varying assignments throughout the semester
  • Ability to provide or receive onsite supervision as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse school-aged population
  • Carry and manage varied caseloads across multiple school locations
  • Collaborate with other educational and related service professionals
  • Contribute to IEP development and implementation, maintaining thorough documentation
  • Adapt quickly to new school environments and changing daily assignments
  • Serve as a resource for speech-language support within general and special education settings
